I'm thinking of going into consulting ... There's hardly any gravity in what they say at all because it's like little kids teaching an adult how to write a report! It's gonna be all hogwash unless the consultant has got a pretty impressive experience and resume to boast of first. -

an army buddy of mine was lucky enough to get picked by Boston consulting after grading from SMU ... -

Don't get me wrong, sometimes it might be a good thing but it is not always the case -

I'm just envious of my friend ... he's a pretty smart chappie ... and I think consulting is a great way to quickly build up contacts and exposure in a particular industry, if one is lucky enough to start up there ... I hope to get something like this personally cos one of my great concerns is that programming skillsets are perishable ... I don't want to stagnate in a particular field and limit my scope to a particular subset of the industry ....
I guess i better stop now ... else people are going to stick pins into little dolls named fatum ... -

Khao San is a farang district all right.. you see them all over southeast asia... the indelible print of backpackers on a country's cultural landscape, how and where they all gather together to make use of the cheap food, cheap drinks, cheap souvenirs and cheap sex a country has to offer.
