Guess which one I'd prefer?! i was just listening to radio in car... u wouldnt believe that there was a roses comercial with the tables turned. It was trying to convice ladies to buy their men flowers.... and a man gushing over how exciting it is to receive flowers. Please who they trying to kid.... only time a guy would be excited by floweres is she is holding it in sexy dress/outfit or wearing it -

the only time I ever bought flowers for someone, I made the mistake of not asking for the price of a dozen roses before hand .....
the florist handed the bouquet proudly to me and said:"$84 " !!! ...
I turned pale and took out my NETs card ......
I never bought flowers again ... I think something more practical and lasting would be better .... hell, even imported chocs would be better ...

actually, if they were long-stemmed roses, and in a bouquet, should be about right...
that's $7 a stalk.. plus they add in other things like arrangement, a few baby's breath thingies to make it look nice, a nice wrap, ribbons and all that...

I know Chrysanthemums in the Chrysanthemum teas are edible, and the chai sim and kan nar chai flowers are yummy ... haven't eaten any other flowers though! -

He was in the army then and was hospitalised for hernia.
