You do, of course, realize that many of those situations are encouraged if not outright scripted by the producers and directors, right? After all, would you rather watch a show in which all the participants get along just hunky-dory, or one in which conflicts, tension and backstabbing abound?
It's all about ratings. "Reality" shows on American TV are usually anything [b]but.[/b]
How about the backstabbing and all that in Survivor... there's US$1M to be won... is that all scripted too?
How much of it is scripted and how much is real?

I had their briyani and murtabak when I was there a few months ago. DEEEELICIOUS!!

The murtabak is very nice, crisp, and doesn't feel too greasy like so many other places. -

I would argue that the lure of the prize money encourages the contestants/participants to modify their behaviour to increase their chances of winning, compelling them to act in a way they don't normally do in real life. My weekend was pretty ok. Saturday was spent with mom and dad, then dad cooked lunch... very yummy!! Then went out in the evening and ate at Ajisen Ramen for the very first time! Nice!
Today, I didn't step out of the house at all! Only ate one meal too. Very hungry now though!

I love ramen too. The first thing I miss upon leaving Japan is the ramen. I would take pictures of my food there But my photobucket photo posting kung fu doesn't work on this site.
