There'll be a lot, a lot of changes coming right up too, so getting kinda apprehensive. 
Also, I don't feel secure living in this place! It's getting to me liao! I got a nasty scare, esp when one neighbour (foreign worker) tailed me right up to my doorstep a few weeks back! I came home late one night and he just followed me and scared the hell out of me! I didn't dare open my door but glared at him and grasped my keys in the 'attack' position (ends of keys poking out through clenched fingers) in case I needed to throw a punch or something.
Ever since then, my nerves have been a little rattled and every little noise outside my apartment, along the corridor, has me all nervous and suspicious!

That's why when I move over to Melbourne, I don't care if I have to pay higher rentals - I'm going for apartments on higher floors with security and along a busy street. And I'm definitely not going to live in some townhouse all alone! -

That incident really shook me. It's never happened to me before and now, I see things differently. More over the top now I know. We went out and got better locks, installed solar powered motion sensor floodlights, etc. Whenever I pull into the driveway, I scan the exterior of the house for any changes, etc. Grrr! -

Cause I live alone, and the neighbourhood has a lot of dubious characters plus there are ways to climb into my home, I've been skittish since I moved here. I'd be so darn glad to leave this apartment!
