how about a bottomless abyss with various hideous monsters at the bottom?

Not so bad la.
But I try not to think about anything bad about people
Because once (I seriously think this is a conicidence) in secondary school, my teacher punished me wrongly for something I didn't do despite my protests and failed explainations. I was sooooo pissed off that I was cursing and swearing under my breathe that she will fall into a drain and get hurt.
To my horror
she was on MC the next day and our form teacher told us that was because she had an accident by falling into a drain near her house
I was like
Didn't feel good about it though

Also I'm starting to think that my female Motoro ray thinks that she is a placo. She likes to rest on the side of the glass......Anyway she is the only ray which can 'stick' to the side of the tank. All the rest just do glass crawling. -
your ray is weird
and no.. just joined the auto association and they gave me the fridge.. will collect it with a giant umbrella..
other things they gave me: box of (bleah) tissues, a car freshener thingy (gave to dad), a cheapo pen, a notepad/sticky thing, a couple of "neck pillows" for the car...
i gotta go take a mugshot of meself and send to them to print my card -

Actually, how are rays like when dead? Do they float to the surface of the water or do they remain at the bottom of the tank? Do they go belly up?
Or, do the other stingrays go "Wheeee!! Sashimi!!!" and then start a jolly feast?
