My family is kinda mixed up I think. Technically speaking we are Peranakan, but we don't speak Malay or practise their customs though we do cook Peranakan food at home. It's a hybrid of Chinese/Peranakan Practices.
My parents learnt Mandarin along with my brother and I when we were studying
