but i am more disturbed by that picture than actually waht you are describing.
my reason is that someone will take revenge on that person and will do the same to them... so i am resolved by that fact.
But to do so to an animal... who would care enough to hunt that person down and bring them to justice. This isnt animal neglect this is out right murder. An animal or child has no means of proctecion.
I am still deeply saddened by that school seige by the terroist 2 years back, where so many children died and traumatised by the ordeal. It was evident that there was no way the seige would have ended peacefully.... it never does and never will. -

every watched the movie "Kingdom of heaven" ? ... when they were departing for messina and some crank was chanting " to kill an infidel is not murder, it is the path to heaven" .....
that is exactly how these people think right now ....
it's a vicious cycle, and I'll tell you why ... I see these chaps coming into a country, as economic, or political refugees, instead of looking to integrate into the country which has given them a safe refuge, they start seeing infidels everywhere, outsiders, meaning people outside of their religion, they impose strict moral standards on their daughters, while their sons go around being hooligans,.. (who do you think sell weed and speed in say, vancouver ? ) ... it's an interesting experience when a taxi driver with a big beard and skull cap suddenly turns around and ask you if you want to buy some weed ... most claim not to drink, but I tell you, they do, and when they do they go wild ....
so ... people start to react to all this, and to immigrants in general ... the children of these chaps tries to go clubbing on their 19th birthday and discovered that bouncers aren't so keen to let them in anymore ... finding a hundred reasons not to ... hell, i've seen it happen with my own eyes .... in front of me ... ("sorry, no T-shirts allowed, no boots, allowed, no jeans allowed" while i got in wearing a muscle tee, jeans, and my army boots !), they started feeling discriminated upon ... get disillusioned about the only country they've ever known .... and now, to throw in the kicker ... suddenly, a nice, interesting preacher shows up ... someone from the middle east somewhere ... or pakistan ... a fatherly figure ... someone who seem to offer succor for them ............ you can guess the rest now ..... -

hey... atrocity breeds itself...
after a while, the world becomes desensitised to the atrocity and they will find another to top that in order to shock and terrorise the world again...
thus, it'll feed upon itself..
it's sad..
just like the choices of their earlier generations will come to haunt the current generation...
unfortunately, it would take a very strong and brave person question anything...
heck! here i am, in singapore... i question the very stupidities folks make the current generation do, with all the logic and morality in it, i still get shouted down by people who insist on sewing their eyes shut, plugging their ears closed and ignoring any conscience they have...

What i dont understand is that how can you prey to a god 5 times a day and then turn around and commit such crimes?
If they are sooo religious and we are all infidels, how can they behave in such a way.
Recently we have had riots on a Sydney beach called Cronulla. The stories follows... 2 life guards were beaten by a group of lebs. The local, majority anglo decided to sms all their friends and rally on the beach on a given date. Naturally everyone cried racist and such...
But the background story is that these bastards have come to the beach harrassed the locals with their large groups through intimidation and setting up close to girls who happened to be sun bathing and calling them "sluts" for wearing bikinis.
Naturally at the peak of this incident an anglican church got burnt down and on the same night my sister inlaws house that was being built also got burnt down, that was near the area. -

that's one reason why I've rejected organized religion, cos religion excludes people, divides people, put up boundaries between each other, and in the name of religion, man becomes an animal against his fellow men ....
and because it's dogma, no one dares question anything ...
when i die and I have to stand before God, I'll tell him, "God, judge me for my works, for I had been an upright, righteous and good man, I failed to believe in you because of what others had been doing against one another in your name" -

But as i saw more of the world and talked to more people at various point in life and emotion, i have realised that religion is needed. I have realised that the majority of people at this stage in out human development would be completely lost with out a sense of direction and purpose and reasoning that science can not provide. I have seen people who was lost and now have found a new purpose in life. I always love that line "i was lost now i am found"
But the fudamental problem with religion is that it is easily hi-jacked by evil people intent on using it to gain power. I think the muslim religion is the only big religion who has never dominated the world and is going thru that cycle. Similar to the Christians... -

Well you can never understand them. That's the problem. They act like shit and wonder why the whole world is against them.
As usual, it's always much easier to blame others than yourself.
What I can never understand as mentioned is that they pray so many times a day and actually get pleasure from torturing someone to death. I don't understand it.
I mean swift execution style murder is bad. But it's not as bad as deriving pleasure from slowly cutting someone up to death!!!! -
