  Thanks Brey. You said it. Each time we move, we go deeper into debt because the Navy doesn't compensate or reimburse 100%. Byt this move isn't Navy ordered so it's all on us.
  
  We're so sick and tired of moving every 3 years, any wonder why I'm counting down the days till retirement (22 months)? Another reason why we're buying here too. Using our housing allowance to pay for the mortgage.

  Timber mostly. Going by typical building materials I've seen. Will have to scan the 5 inch thick binder they gave me to find out.

  These days, putting the laundry room upstairs is very popular since that's where dirty laundry is generated. One doesn't have to haul the laundry up and down the stairs. But on the other hand, if the washer should spring a leak, then to quote Steve Irwin, "danger, danger, danger". The development is giving us a tray for the washer to sit on, just in case.
