Yup. Already decided the make, now which model... or should I keep my old car.. I am very fond of it, but economically, it makes sense to get the new car as I can purchase it under the company and get a tax deduction...Originally posted by Rhonda:BIG decision!
I know nothing about cars now.Sorry, can't be of help.
welcome to my club!!!!Originally posted by breytonhartge:Hey plump is good got something to hug at least, I don't like my girls too skinny, then all you are hugging is bones.. but that said, my better half is like a stick... what to do? Citing my own experiences, local guys are into that vase mentality, which irritated me no end and only made me want to be as far away from their version of ideal. I wasn't a prissy girl, was a tomboy, able to hold my own. All the intelligent/mental/etc connections and headway made were all lost when you realise they don't think you pretty enough to warrant a serious relationship.Originally posted by Rhonda:![]()
Ironically, I felt most comfortable with my American ex's... cause they didn't hiam about me physically at all!
jetta, I just feel it's sooooo NOT right to judge a person based solely on looks alone!
Y'know, there were times when I liked a particular guy and we'd get along very well and all, but then, they'd slowly reveal that they find me too plump and they'd prefer someone skinnier. And then my self-confidence would take a suicidal dive and it'll take a long time to heal...
BUT, these days, I have more self-love than to succumb to that!![]()
Somehow, I find it hard to believe that I'm THAT unloveable!

Isn't it odd, from one extreme to the other?!

I take that as a blessing.Maybe it's from all those tears that God slowly forged a stronger heart for me!

not really, but I don't want to have this problem reoccur again, in a jap car, it is ok, but my poor BM has overheated twice now, once last year and now this year... hmmmOriginally posted by jetta:Brey, I can relate. Is $$ an issue for you? The usual arguments come into play. Eg: cost of repairs vs price of new car?
One for us!!!!!!!!!Originally posted by Rhonda:Hey, peeps! Looks like I've kinda scared some of the blokes in the Dating Forum to change their tack and suddenly claim that they don't mind plump girls that much!![]()

i used to dabble in bike repairs so i knw a serioiusly overheatd engine is a dam difficult thing to repair. problems will keep surfacing. i dont tink u wana giv yr kids a car tt will have a high potential of breakdown. safety is yr upmost concern...Originally posted by breytonhartge:I know, its in the mechanics now and when I was talking to him on friday, the list of problems kept growing...
sigh... my little baby... so sad. I always thought I keep this one for my kids to drive as their first car...

So there I was minding my own business, having some downtime with the girls after a long day at work when I met the hubster. From Day 1 he has told me I'm the most beautiful thing ever.

OOooh!! You didn't read my posts in there?? It's a classic case of me unsheathing my claws and doing a wee bit of 'damage'!Originally posted by breytonhartge:HAHAHa,
what did you say?
I guess your BM is telling you that it's time for it to go meet it's maker. We are also looking into a diesel alternative since hubby will have to commute 70 miles to work one way when we move up north. Diesel prices are higher but they give you more mpg's. I just hope a diesel version isn't as loud as diesels used to be.Originally posted by breytonhartge:not really, but I don't want to have this problem reoccur again, in a jap car, it is ok, but my poor BM has overheated twice now, once last year and now this year... hmmm
was looking at getting an X5 diesel as its got some grunt, but can lug a lot of stuff, can put my doggies in the back and its easier on the fuel... what do you think?
if I kept it, I would be replacing the engine, with a good secondhand one, but for a bimmer, that is still quite ex. Then I would mod the car already and get the more powerful 3.0 M engine vs my current 2.8, but the car is only worth $24000 so the price of the cheapest engine is going to be $4000 not counting the cost of installation... hmmm... your are probably right, a new car should be looming.Originally posted by skeujin:i used to dabble in bike repairs so i knw a serioiusly overheatd engine is a dam difficult thing to repair. problems will keep surfacing. i dont tink u wana giv yr kids a car tt will have a high potential of breakdown. safety is yr upmost concern...![]()

You know, as I've gotten older, I have no time for such shallow people. Sometimes I feel bad being so cut and dry.Originally posted by Rhonda:Hey, that is sooooo true!!
I feel the same way too! I might have admired and respected a guy when I first meet him but when I detect that serious serial shallowness about him, I immediately see him no up liao and from then on, no longer hold him in the same regards.![]()
