Everyone feels sad when they experience loss of things they treasure. DonÂ’t feel foolish, it only shows how big and warm your heart is. Due to long hours at work, I have very strong bonds with my colleagues. Lately, they have been all resigning or contract ending and are leaving one by one. I feel abandoned. And very lost.
I know we all made promises like to stay in touch, our friendships will go on, etc... But things change right ? And people move on. Its kinda sad to know that one year down the road, it will be another hi and bye affair instead of the close bond that we had. Such a pity, you know ?
And its not as though I can deceive myself into believing that things wont change. Because I know they will and always have.
And I feel stupid, cos thats like mourning the loss before it occur.
Ok. Does that sound bad or what ? I think I am heading right for that loony bin.
DonÂ’t be sad cause you are going to lose your friends. They will never be far away. Just a phone call, a sms, an email and soon you shall be happily together talking bout old times n new. Be happy for them, be happy for yourself and be happy that they have sought out new endeavours; they are starting a new chapter in their lives and so shall you. Many new n wonderful experiences await you welcome them with as much love you have shown your friends and your journey will be divine.
Life is an adventure; everything changes around you with every second n every minute. There will be times when you miss them, times you thought you heard them call your name, times your eyes mistake a stranger for a familiar face. Sadness might follow but call upon your memories that are all bright n beautiful. Just close your eyes and they will be with you once again in an instant and im sure a smile will surface from those misty eyes.
Look up into the night sky and see the stars that shine upon you my dear gal. They are just like your friends. You will never lose them and as infinite in number as they are, so shall be the friends you will make n treasure in your lifetime to come. And from what I know of you. I promise that your friends will love n treasure you as equally if not more in return.

Okay, I just found out that I am good at making excuses......to myself. I was craving for Mac's crispy chicken sandwich. But I activated "restrain" button. However, while walking back to catch the van, I saw some seniors having to eat mushy mushy food.
I'm like "okay, that's it........if I don't eat it now, when I want to eat, I may not even manage them."
So, here I am........digging in to my sandwich!!! Yay!!!
*wipe mayo off the corner of my mouth* -
