living room w/o a tv output? weird....Originally posted by jetta:Brey, ask you a question. We noticed that there isn't a tv jack in the living room. Would it be expensive to ask the developer to install one in said room?
still working, just amazed at how inefficient people can be here... was monitoring the demolition process for a client while he was away, the old house was supposed to be demolished by now, but for one whole week, the demolition people did nothing... how lazy... they have their equipment on site, but it is just left there... sigh...Originally posted by jetta:I'm sooooo tired Brey.Been a long day. Went grocery shopping, picked the kids up early, drove to the design place. Took me 2 hours and 15 mins man! Finalised the flooring in 2 hours and then drove the 2 hours back home.
How was your day?
That's what I thought too. Every room in the house has a tv jack.Originally posted by skeujin:living room w/o a tv output? weird....

I'd have to show you the floor plan so that you can see it can't be done without the ugly cable being a tripping hazard. Thanks for the suggestion.Originally posted by skeujin:the designer wasnt vry family orientated i guess...
jus buy a splitter jack n run a cable into the living room lah. so much simpler n cost effective... at most jus gota drill a hole in the wall...![]()
should not be expensive. haggle with them and get it thrown in for free. you've already paid so much, that is the least they can do.Originally posted by jetta:Brey, ask you a question. I'm thinking they'll tell me it's going to be expensive or that it can't be done. Yes brick and plasterboard house. The design lady gave me the number to the person with the answer, so I'll find out soon. Thanks Brey.Originally posted by breytonhartge:should not be expensive. haggle with them and get it thrown in for free. you've already paid so much, that is the least they can do.
really depends on the developer whether they want to be nice or not. But it is a relatively inexpensive job... i am assuming that your home is a brick verneer with brick on the outside and plasterboard on the inside?
