smells like decomposed fried sewerage in the middle...

Oh talking abt food.. u know hubby and i went to Fraser Hill for holiday.. rather we started off going to fraser hill but after abt 3 days there went for a madcap 1 day thing to Penang. Arrive at 4 am... sleep at town park till 6 am then its.....
FOOD TIME! wa best... we ate....
1. HOkkien Mee with Pork Trotter
2. Chee Cheong Fun
3. Milo and kopi
4. Bak Chang (GIANT bak chang with 2 salted eggs and massive amounts of chestnut and meat inside)
5. Cheng Tng
6. Red Bean Soup
7. Cendol
8. Penang Laksa
9. Char Kway Teow
10. Ramly BUgger
until its 7 pm and we ran off to Butterworth to grab a train back to Singapore....

I have never eaten bear's heart before.. or paw.. or the very horrible bear gall bladder thingy.. (hmm... hmm )
I tried the Geylang smelly tofu leh mebbe its 'toned' downbut didnt find it smelly at all. I like it! Yummmmm -

Anyways, I remember going up there a few years back with a friend who drove up there. He brought me to THE Ramly stall that started it all. My very first Ramly Burger was taken at THE Ramly stall! Kewl!

Actually hurhurhu its always the same few malay families setting up the Ramly Bugger stalls.... there one of this guy not bad looking who.. wow.. flips his buggers with STYLE.... i get very fixated looking at him crack the eggs.. flip the patties...
Then there's another guy..this big bald guy with bloodshot eyes.. his Ramly Bugger 'SPECIAL' is different cos he makes his eggs McMuffin Style... nice alsoooo -

Yeah! It's in Penang! But not near Gurney Drive. It started as one of those roadside stands then as business got better, they grew larger and larger! When I went, they had tables and chairs and dim lighting and what looked like some make-shift canvas structure.
It was sooooo many years ago liao! Memory's a tad hazy. -
