But where are those fancy appliances? I didn't see them in the kitchen.
You will think I am sooooo CHEAP!!! I mean I like baking and making kueh, right? Up to now I still don't have a mixer. Saw this handheld ones. Really cheap. Like under C$10. But still contemplate/hesitate some more.
I went to the stores and now they have really nice fancy ones. Come in lime, red, blue, black and white. Toasters, deep fryers, mixers, blenders, kettles. Ahh, so tempting.

Plus the kitchen is too small to display too many things
and Bear, I do feed them glass shrimps. Though I don't really like to coz they spit out the shells and create a mess -
but rays are messy eaters... they will suck out the insides and spit out the shells...
maybe you could try feeding them dead or shelled stuff

I'll wait till they are bigger than I'll starve them to take dead food. Right now everything they eat is alive.
Btw are all frogs banned as pets or certain species are allowed -
well, the food-type frogs are allowed.. i don't think pacman frogs are legal

one of the stories i heard about the pacman frog was hilarious... dude wanted a poisonous salamander and had a lot of pacman frogs.. so he traded a whole lot of them for one poisonous salamander..

and some of the pets not banned are questionable too
For example, the soft shell turtle. You can buy them to eat but you can't buy them as pets.
But the Red Earred Slider which ppl buy and release all over, destroying the local population and endangering the local turtle species are allowed to be imported.
Anyway for the RES I think it's something to do with the FTA with USA -
