That's why the Speakers Corner, I'm not going to bother them anymoreOriginally posted by the Bear:they don't.. but it's more insidious than censorship.. they portray lies and half-truths as news..
none more so than foxnews..
btw, did you check out the latest stories about the price of oil?
after a few articles that came out saying that exxon-mobil, chevron and other oil companies are profiteering (duh!!) the "federal department" came out and said that there was no truth in the reports that oil companies are profiteering
well, explain US$36 billion profits last year!
and explain how come exxon-mobil has an even HIGHER profit this first quarter when compared to last year!

recipes...
mom was telling me how to get nice slices of fish in fish porridge... instead of the mess if you just chuck the fish in...
step 1 - slicing the fish
freeze fish until it's semi-frozen.. use a ridiculously sharp knife to slice 3/4cm thick slices of fish
step 2 - cornstarch
a little cornstarch in water to make a watery mess... put slices into the cornstarch and make sure the slices are covered in the stuff... drain the water..
step 3 - cooking
when porridge is boiling, introduce the fish into the boiling gruel... then allow cook porridge as normal...
the fish slices should come out in nice slices instead of disintegrating into a mess

the danger for Singapore though, is that we have no true viable alternatives to speak of ... I fear one day the men in white may just topple and a bunch of showmen and half-wits take over and Singapore may tumble ....Originally posted by the Bear:every strength, in itself, is a weakness..
