The larger issue here is accountability and strengthening of our democratic institutions.Every AP candidate that gets elected into Parliament is one extra check on the power of the PAP. If we get 15/84 representation, it's a good start.
The WP has a future, in terms of candidacy and empathy along the ground, and the PAP's style of cognitive dissonance won't work on the electorate, because both municipal issues and national issues are not exclusive of each other. -
