actually, cost of living in singapore is pretty good.. if you know how to control your spending and do not go splurge all the time..
an average joe can save enough money for a nest egg if only he doesn't squander it all on 4D and Toto

To be honest, looking at the situation these days, the US doesn't seem to be as attractive a place to move to as it used to be a few years back.
Oh well, soon, I'll be moving over to a place with much higher taxes, less up-to-date movie and US TV Series offerings, and less enjoyable shopping. -

Is it true that in order to study at their local university, you've got to be able to speak their language? Since i was told that several lectures would be taught in their local language?
