  Well, we christianed our spanking new stainless steel bbq last weekend! Time to dig out my grilling cookbook liao.

  Yah, the common lawn area is maintained by the Association, but the lawncare company we hire doesn't always do a good job keeping it healthy. Sometimes, the homeowners have to step in and perform a modicum of gardening to keep the lawn in front of their townhomes looking pretty.
  
  Congrats on your new outdoor grill! Just make sure to keep it some distance from your house's siding, especially if it's vinyl!

  My hubby is very on the go one. Cannot sit still. If weather is good, he's always outdoors. Frontyard, backyard. Tidying the garage, re-wiring the speakers. Yah, he set up the radio with speakers strategically placed. So, it's nice to sit out on the deck and listening in to some soft music in the evenings.

  Didn't sound like you were 'trying to find out'.
  
  Anyways, it's just different priorities and perceptions. Some people may think paying for beer is worth it, others spend on other things to get their kick. And yet others, like me, cannot afford to drink as much as I used to because the disposable income has decreased drastically and has to be stretched to cover many other expenses.
