  We got a new bbq grill so hoping to do some of that. And awaiting street festivals so can jalan jalan. And then, perhaps just do leisure drives up north to cottage country.

  yes I am, hoping to be there around June/July? Unsure at this point in time as my workload is keeping me here...
  
  too wet for me, cannot jalan, jalan, so i keep busy by going to the gym... lost quite a bit already in preparation of going back to singapore to makan...

  it's the same here. the gym is packed with peeps during the cold months too. in summer? even driving on the road is like dead. well, at least the route that i travel to work. pretty quiet.
  
  summer is really short. only like jul and august so peeps usually take time off. they go up to their cottages or rent one. and it's summer break for the kids too eh, so parents take time off to spend with their children.
  
  hence, the bank works in such a way that if one takes summer vacation, the entitlement is 16 days. but if one takes winter vacation, one gets 20 days. you don't have to guess. i take the winter breaks.
