The situation with the 151 service must really be bad for people to actually write in about it. Perhaps SBS should do something about it. Just my $0.02. -

Somemore morning ppl cannot board, the poor driver has to plead with passengers to move in further even
Just like that bus my darling takes, out of the 8 buses, only 1 is aircon, somemore overloaded...
If they whole day say 90% of the buses are aircon, show it!
This bus 151 is simply a timebomb, cos it's the only bus sv to serve both a university (NUS) and polytechnic (Ngee Ann)... Lots of students I believe aren't happy -
why don't you, in your free time, go down to the bus stop and take statistics..
each time a bus comes by the bus stop, note down the time, bus number and approximately how full it is..
do it for a week..
and then sock it to the bus company -

bring to press instead.. since a few letters about the service already...
write down words like:
in spite of the bus company claiming that (their claims), with a pencil and a piece of paper, over a week, i recorded down their schedule. and it would seem that what they tell the press and what actually happens are totally different things.
so, do the management or the people who write these replies and schedules know what's actually going on? or are they those who are up there, in their airconditioned offices, totally oblivious to what's actually happening outside their offices?
and i'm willing to bet none of the bus company's senior management takes public transport to work.

I suppose that is an issue that is very dear to the hearts of Singaporeans since many of them ride the bus.
