i mean, i'm still sometimes slack-jawed with awe when i make a discovery.. but i find a lot of children going "sian.. boring" over almost everything..
i just brought a group of kids out on Sunday on a Sungei Buloh walk with their familes... and parents' attitudes really reflect on the kids.
One group of friends brought their kids out about 6 of them.. all armed with journals to encourage them to write down, draw what they learn. OThers carries kids to look at flowers more clearly, take photos to remember what they saw on the trip... and the kids were so filled with wonder squealing and excited
But another group my friends helped on complained it was too slow, too long, too hot, nothign to see, boring. and of course the kids get impatient, fidgety and distracted. And believe, there is nothing to see in Singapore. -
i guess so...
some children mimic their parents..
there is more to life than increasing its speed
however, most don't even understand the implications of that statement... and in it, doom their children to follow suit... -
Brought in Cargo Rice, Nescafe, Essence into JB...
Heck, they are ranting over poor quality rice, coffee and yet they are ex in Johor...

btw, crabs, you gotta get the ones which are "fresh" which means that they should not have been walking around in their cages for days.. they lose a lot of protein that way..
if you really want good crab, maybe you should go to the wholesalers... -

if you really want good crab, maybe you should go to the wholesalers... But what I believe is that, because the ppl there mostly want cheaper rate, the manufacturers manufacture lower grade quality for Malaysia, and higher for SG as ppl are willing to pay more

the second, is a picture of a homeless man smoking a cigarette... no "glorification of tobacco" is allowed... even when it is a down-and-out homeless dude and it's not glorifying anything..
the last is a picture of an african girl from Sudan.. taken off the internet.. meant to put a human face to the atrocities of Darfur.. the school pulled it because the student didn't "get permission from the girl to use her picture" -

waa i didnt notice rainbow sticker but yaa.. tot gays hang out rainbow flags outside their establishment to show its 'gay friendly'
and honestly carebears were........ i dont know.... asexual. i dont know they could be gay. they didnt have necessary organs and all =frown= disturbing. No wonder they died out after a while. -

Hah hah!! I know what you mean. Reminds me of some time back when I was having some pics developed(when I was still using film), some of them were of honey bees polinating flowers and someone asked me if I took that overseas.
