They're going back to JB??Originally posted by the Bear:looks like my packing has to be a quick one... which can be done in the late afternoon...
i'm stuck now waiting for the next 2 hours coz i gotta fetch my uncle to Woodlands at 2.. if i pack now, i'll be sweating like a madman and stinky as heck...
i think the packing should be done in about 3 hours.. but the heavy lifting of the tv is worrying me.. also, where should i put the damned tv in the meantime?

Actually just get them to Queen St and take the SJE back...
Your room sounds like a huge one. When we were still in Japan, while I was trying to move the tv (I really didn't think it was *that* heavy) there was a tremor and the tv fell on me. Yikes! The thing was super duper heavy and there I was in a squatting position with the tv on my lap, with no way of pulling myself up due to the awkward angle. I must have been in that position for about 15 minutes or so until I managed to push the tv back up on the tv stand.Originally posted by the Bear:looks like my packing has to be a quick one... which can be done in the late afternoon...

Here in the States, we have kneeling busses and ramps too. Even a bike rack on the front of the bus. Sg has kneeling busses too right? If my memory serves me well (which it very often doesn't)Originally posted by sbst275:I see
This morning, still haven't seen the double decks fitted with the ramps as yet
