  In other news: the FBI's recovered that stolen laptop with veterans' data.
  
  I've been so anxious about it since we heard. Been making calls to all the institutions we have accounts with. I just hope this is the end of the saga and that the VA will now start implementing tighter measures.

  they contain legal and case-related cases of about 16,000 vets..

  I know, I know. They sent us a letter via snail mail and we've been calling all the military hotlines. I'm still antsy. I've taken some steps which I hope will be deterrent enough. We feel like sitting ducks.
