After all, satay without the peanut sauce is like... like... um... like satay without peanut sauce! Or a banana split without the split. Or a Big Mac without the cholesterol. Or... or...
...where the heck was I going with this?
McPuke's fries dipped in ice cream? Hmmm... I can conceivably see how that might actually taste semi-decent, given that those two items are often consumed in the same sitting by the legions of morbidly obese individuals who frequent these fast food joints.Originally posted by jetta:Towards your need to order Prima online.
You forgot one: Mickey D's fries dipped in vanilla ice cream.
On the Today show right now: Grilling watermelon slices?![]()
At least identity theft isn't a big factor there. Is it?Originally posted by the Bear:yeah.. lesson learnt
but then, i am still not going to let the management the place get off the hook when they already know that there is a thief working their place..
worst thing.. they have CCTVs to monitor their staff rather than to check out if people are conducting illegal activities on their premises...
i mean, just how much can a bowling alley clerk pilfer?
did it warrant a specialised CCTV camera?
they just don't bloody trust their staff.. they'd rather monitor their own staff than to ensure the security of their own premises...
worse still, the CCTV monitors aren't manned.. no one is in that room after office hours.
what kind of braindead security do they have??
You haven't tried that gastronomical pleasure? Fries dipped in their vanilla sundae is da bomb!! So now I know where you'll be headed for lunch.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:McPuke's fries dipped in ice cream? Hmmm... Okay, I'll bite: what's the end result of grilling a watermelon slice? Does it become crispy somewhere?

Is reporting the incident to the local rag part of your shame and hammer plan?Originally posted by the Bear:oh.. watch me
even my friends at the alley who were also disgusted by the lack of action of the management there, said that of all the people, i was the last one they would want to get robbed on their premises
well, let me figure things out... slowly.. let it get into a slow cold burn...
the sheer stupidity of all their "security" is a start... just wondering which way should i hammer them? shame them, or just outright let them have it?

The closest I've come to dipping a French fry in ice cream was when I was eating at a local A&W and accidentally dropped one in a root beer float. My preferred way of eating fries is to smother them in salt.Originally posted by jetta:You haven't tried that gastronomical pleasure? Fries dipped in their vanilla sundae is da bomb!! The watermelon grilling lady says the heat brings out the juices.

Mickey's fries rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Originally posted by the Bear:proper chips must be made from cut whole potatoes.. none of that crap McCrap serves...
then chips must be covered in salt and vinegar...
Root beer floats rock, especially when prepared with chocolate ice cream. also, I am particularly partial to using Barq's root beer in my floats, as it's noticeably sweeter than the other competing brands.Originally posted by jetta:I prefer nearly salt-free fries. Yeah, I've seen the TV ads for that. Looks like it might actually taste halfway decent. I might give it a try, though I would probably not want to know the cholesterol content...Originally posted by jetta:This is the current rojak concoction they're promoting here.
We love root beer too. Progressing from A & Dubs, to Barq's to Dad's to Mugs and finally IBC. Haven't heard of chocolate ice cream in floats. Maybe because I'm not a chocolate fan? Wait till I tell my son though. He'll flip.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Root beer floats rock, especially when prepared with chocolate ice cream. also, I am particularly partial to using Barq's root beer in my floats, as it's noticeably sweeter than the other competing brands.
