  Interestingly enough, I always have problems listening to conversations on any handphone, to the point where I cannot make out what the other person is saying half of the time. I'm thinking about leaving the handsfree set permanently attached to my phone.
  
  But, in normal situations my hearing is pretty good, like listening to conversations on the other end of the office. And I can listen at the near minimum volume level on mp3 players.
  
  Anyone else has this problem

  I have the opposite problem from you.
  Ear-piece and headsets drive me nuts coz I can never make out the words

  maybe and for me ear pieces never seem to fit my ear
