Hey, sbs! I noticed something this morning on my way into work, and immediately thought about you.
As you might already know, I take the express bus to work. It's essentially a 10-wheeled, 45-foot tour coach that has been pressed into service as a public bus.
I get off at the very last stop, which is at a cul-de-sac where the bus has to make a very tight 180° turn to exit. I've always wondered how such a large vehicle was able to accomplish such a tight manoeuver, and finally found out today: apparently, the coach is equipped with steerable rear wheels that turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels, to reduce the turn radius. I just happened to glance back as the coach was making the turn this morning, and noticed it.
Pretty cool, in my opinion, and it got me wondering how common such a feature is on public buses. And of course, I thought of you!
Does using your handphone's mp3 capabilities take a toll on its battery life?Originally posted by av98m:In other news, I just discovered that my handphone is a pretty decent mp3 player! Never thought to try it until my ipod shuffle died recently.![]()

no..there's more explosions in brainiac, more nice little interesting segments.Originally posted by the Bear:you say that because of Rachel Grant or Prof Myang Lee

I'll bet that, on Brainiac, they never fired a 50BMG round from a Barrett rifle into a swimming pool.Originally posted by The man who was death:brainiac is still way better than mythbusters

Guess who was a monster baby beforeOriginally posted by sbst275:Hey Pinky, just now you said abt monster babies
Really, those who was really notti when they were kids are more likely to fear of this![]()

brainiac do some myths sometimes too, mostly coming from letters from the british publicOriginally posted by the Bear:but both shows have different focus...
mythbusters takes urban myths to see if they are plausible and possible...
brainiac just blows stuff up
