  sadly, for Villa, the best thing which should have been done was to get rid of o'leary, and then for doug ellis to sell out to someone... someone who gives a damn and can bring in some cash...

  i think what he doesn't do very well is keep changing managers and not appointing the right ones, he actually spend quite a lot of money but most of it was wasted on flops like balaban, colleymore

  when yorke knew man utd were coming for him, he wasn't committed to villa already, at least john managed to hold out for 12m+, yorke could've gone for much less
