when in the middle of melbourne city, go with a WHOLE lot of things there
there's Mekong at Swanston which serve amazingly good viet beef noodles...
there's The Souvlaki Bar which serve damned good souvlaki...
each of the little delis there have very good veal, steak, chicken schnitzel, whatever sandwiches...
a couple of tram stops away is Lygon where you get damned good italian and cake shops
there are greek, italian, viet and everything else in between...
chinese food is.. meh.. there
