That law comes as a shock!! It's like giving employers the go-ahead to fleece employees and make them work OT for nothing!!

I think no company has ever enforced it because no one will want to work for them, plus socially, it gives them a bad name in the market and people might actually enforce a boycott on their product

Bear are you considered an executive by the company?
If so, OT is said to be part of your work and your responsibility andyou are not protected by the employment act
I mean it is under the company's discretion to give you time off or over-time pay

The people that can be hurt by this piece of legislation are the lower income hourly rated workers, or anyone making less than 1.6k I guess. -
my job title = senior < blah blah > executive
which is a lot of hogwash because before the merger, there was no "senior" bit... now it sounds scary but we're still paid the same to do a crapload more..
as for the "lower paid".. since when the idiots in ivory towers care except to win brownie points? -

they blame their own shortcomings on their bosses... boss over their bosses.. threaten their bosses.. choose their own pay, choose what they want to do or what they don't want to do.. get to travel to nice places first class..

i've got a fat liver
goes with my fat head and my fat ass
tomorrow, i'll be heading to the Raffles Hospital for a scan on my liver to see if my years of hard drinking have destroyed it and caused it to become the size of a sofabed -

Erhmm dining at expensive resturants is one of my perks at work. -
Yesterday my chiropractor told me to have a light and healthy dinner
But it so happened I was meeting my SO and his old friend and of all places they went to NYDC
Ended up eating baked pasta and a mudpie -
i'll be well.. too dumb to die so easily
anyway, blood pressure is normal when i'm awake.. elevated when i'm asleep...
that, plus high cholesterol levels plus foie gras type liver = possible hardening of arteries...
anyway, the liver produces cholesterol and therefore it ties in...
a regime of cholesterol lowering pills + sensible eating should do the trick
oh oh.. forgot to tell you guys.. my left arm and my right butt cheek hurts
the tests also say that i've no antigens or whatever against both the Hepatitis A and B virii.. which means my innoculation has worn out.. so the doc gave me both..
oh well... it will help with the liver functions too according to the pill-roller
