Nice going, Mr. Goodwrench! Is this part of your nefarious scheme to make her completely dependent on you for her vehicle maintenance needs?

What vehicle did she get?Originally posted by Fatum:that's a good car with pretty low mileage ... I'm going to change the transmission fluid and brake pads that's all .....
but to change the transmission fluid I'd need to take out the pan and gasket too, cos the gaskets are all single use ones, that takes "work" ... the brake pads are her idea ... she wanted new ones ... I'm happy to oblige ...![]()
it's a rusty red 98' pontiac grand am coupe, automatic ....Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:What vehicle did she get?
With regard to the tranny fluid, there's probably a drain plug somewhere on the lower part of the auto gearbox housing that you can unscrew to drain the fluid. I doubt it's necessary to drop the pan. If at all possible, try to access an online version of the vehicle's Factory Service Manual for instructions on changing the tranny fluid.

So how, are people going to jail for this? Or will those responsible get a small slap on the wrist in the form of a fine and recover it all from the next fare hike?Originally posted by sbst275:The new bus thread, some bus nuts mentioned that quite a lot of SMRT Buses can go up to 80km/hr!... You can smell a rat, heavy vehicles are supposed to be fitted with speed limiters that limits the speed at 60km/hr
Cos.... If drive too fast and if the bus need to do a sudden braking/ crash with another vehicle, those standing passengers could potentially be flung out of the bus!
They can't do anything to public busesOriginally posted by av98m:So how, are people going to jail for this? Or will those responsible get a small slap on the wrist in the form of a fine and recover it all from the next fare hike?![]()
