They used the Cross Harbour Rts to say that SG bus fares are cheaper, but frankly speaking, those are the HK operators cash cows -

Now looking at CSJ's acts -
The gahbrahment should have never signed to host the IMF meeting. Now after all the effort and expense kena so much negative publicity somemore. What were they thinking? That they could have their cake and eat it too? (By that I mean the dubious prestige of hosting the IMF parasites and keeping all the protestors out at the same time) I wonder who is going to get the blame for this one. Some hapless civil servant scapegoats I guess.

As usual, the government wasn't looking at the big picture. They just wanted to benefit from the pride and prestige that hosting such a prominent meeting would bring, and felt that they could deal with the potential for disorder with the same high-handed tactics that have been successful in keeping their citizenry in line for years (i.e., blanket bans).Originally posted by av98m:The gahbrahment should have never signed to host the IMF meeting. In a way, those tactics are working: there have thankfully been no violent protests or demonstrations thus far. But Singapore's reputation in the international community has been damaged. -

Open see hum!
Went on a movie binge today and caught 2 shows back to back.
1. The Host - A heartwarming movie about what it means to be family. Yeah I know there's a monster and stuff but this is no monster or horror movie. I walked out with a smile on my face.
2. Forbidden Siren - Low budget Japanese horror/thriller. This one SUCKED ASS. Don't waste your money. Buy the JB version and share it with your firends, if you really must watch it. -
