You know, you got me thinking. Before I first moved over here years back, I was under the impression that the US was so technologically advanced. Some here in the states have done away with land lines. I did toy with that idea, just to eliminate a bill but being in by the mountains means I don't always get a clear reception. Dropped calls are common when talking inside the house. Even stepping outside doesn't guarantee a drop-free conversation. -

Yes, yes, yes. I totally relate. I was totally surprised at how kampong many parts are. At how narrow and or close minded many individuals are. That many don't have a passport, have never travelled or been on a plane. Many only know of their little area of the world. The crime, the drug situation...
