financially independent with couple of properties, drives fancy cars but guess what? no suitors. or at least no "suitable" suitors. *sighs* where are all the GOOD men???

oh yea on the news today
teo chee hian was saying civil service pay might increase to match the private sector. the reporter then said "this is to show appreciation to the civil service for its efforts"
my toes were bloody laughing. pay increase? what, $50? that's like the standard annual pay increase. which kinda cancels out the education supplement that decreases.
i can imagine with whatever pay increase, higher management will be saying "heres a reason for u to work harder"
my toes are laughing again -
they already work us like dogs...
sadly, the people look at the idiots up high and forget the thousands working hard.. the thousands below get all the heat because the idiots up high hide behind the thousands of working hacks.. -
