strangely, GST hits the poor the hardest... but of cause, it doesn't affect his elite salary... so it doesn't bother his elite head about it..
Now I remember a few of the reasons why I was so exasperated I had to do all I could to leave and search for a 'better' life for myself here. I can't believe they're still giving lame excuses like that! "Help the poor"? I mean, come on! Who are we kidding here?!

Holy crap! How did I miss this thread???
At the risk of being late, I'd like to thank all of sgForumers who turned up at Newton for the dinner shindig. It was nice to finally put faces to the handles of several of the forumites here, and I look forward to being able to get together with some of you again the next time I'm back.
