if u have a child. would u give him/her an english name?
i'm starting to feel that just giving a chinese name will do.
i remember an article where this angmoh was wondering why we're giving english names to the kids when he felt that the chinese names were beautiful.
when i asked my colleague, he said that kids might feel left out if they don't have english names. and parents don't give dialect names anymore.
Miss "Elite" Wee also didn't have an English name .... so I guess it doesn't really matter ...Originally posted by kopiosatu:is it true that kids will feel left out without an english name???
