Me and powdered milk.
Ever since I've discovered how creamy foaming when you whirled 5 tablespoons of milk powder with a small mug of ice water in a blender.....it taste just like normal milk. Except they are low lactose, low watever and its just the right amount for a bowl of cereals.
And I dont have to worry about finishing the milk before they turn bad. I am cheapskate.

gizzards, cut them open, wash off the muck in there, and then scrape off that layer inside
i don't like gizzards that much.. but i like livers..
duck liver, almost cooked in the gravy of braised duck.. heavenly!
that is the one part of cooking the braised duck i'm still not that good at... -

Sigh.. its those 'relationship' thing... in short, she liked this guy (who is really all our friends) and there was a time he was supposed to go out with her, and met all of us, and he asked us if we wanted to go clubbing (hey no car, we jump at every opportunity to get out of our suburb) .. so we said yes, and gawd does she HATE us for it. One of the things she did was to grab my friend's shoulder painfully, stare at her and shake her, while her smiling lips ask "so, you are joining us eh? it's a little bit tough but if you marinate with ginger, it becomes less chewy...
stirfry with spring onions and use a hot plate...
good stuff

if you eat it once in a while its okay
BUT not if u got to eat 2-3 hearts in a week cos there is no other meat, and u dont want to waste money by discarding it. -
pound fresh ginger and squeeze the juice out into the meat..
this also tenderises tough beef cuts
or cook with slivers of fresh ginger also can.. with spring onions -
