Grandmother use to have a collection she brought from China.
The jade bangle, it broke while I was on a uniformed duty. I had to throw away them pieces after some old folks advise me that it has done its duty and its bad luck to keep the broken pieces.
The rest of the jade i have is those donut shaped ones. And I only managed to buy some leather strings to string them for wearing like new fashion jewellery...

Seriously he is not a traditional Indian and I really consider him more of a Chinese inside He knows our Chinese customs better than I do for one

Cant find that kinda simple design anymore. In the end, approached a lady who hand string those stuffs and get her to do one pair of dangly jadite earrings for me.
They were lovely. Simple, sweet and neat. I hardly wear them though, cos I got 4 earstuds holes. And to wear them feel kinda weird when mixed with the rest of my earrings. -

Gave a gal 2 pairs of specially strung earrings, but she was allergic to the metals.
I ask her for the stones back so I can restring them for her handphone decorations. She dont know where she kept them...sigh....
I truly gives weird gifts. One year...was glow in the dark condoms for the guys.
ANother year, searched high and low for those small Nivea deodarants sprays to give to boys and gals. -

Another option was to use silver chain and string ultra small jadite donuts for a necklace. Garantee no one wears them.

anyway, there's a new prata stall right in front of it and beside it is another nasi ayam penyat stall.. this nasi ayam penyat stall also has.. nasi ikan penyat.. no one ordered it when i was there (okay.. i eat too damned fast) but i'm wondering if they'll bash the fried fish
