Sigh....office pc konked out.
So thai accountant was using the laptop.
Which means, we cant use it.
Then my stepmoter suggest I drive that huge pick up and explore the island. I resigned myself to fate and was putting on my jeans when my stepmother came to me again and says the accountant can loan me her cute HOnda Wave R kup kia.
You should see my face.....changed immediately to glee. Grab my full face helmet and practically rushed out!
The accountant was very nice to show me how to kick start as well as how the gears worked. But she went down with the bike because she forgot to put her side stand on before she disembarked.
Stepmother make me do a u turn just to see how I managed the bike.
I went pass them with okay signs and proceeded to Phuket Town.
Lost my way couple of times in Phuket Town, finally lost my way towards Patong Beach.
Lost my way in Patong Beach and ends up at Prontep Cape. Lost my way at Chalong area and even manage to venture into the moutain kampongs and scare lots of baffulos & their calfs.
Lost my way again around Central Mall Phuket and finally FINALLY found my way towards Tesco Lotus and towards my friend's bike work shop.
Lost my way again trying to get back to PHuket Town, but generally still in the Patong Beach Kampong area.
Then, using Central Mall Phuket as a guide, found my way back to Phuket Town and missed a turn but compensated by making a U turn and got back safely to Si-Re Island.
Left the bike at a nearby newly established Bike Wash Enterprise.
Came home, took a long shower as well as 2 bottles of mineral water.
My head was killing me. The sun was fastastic plus I was all covered up with thick clothing and full face helmet plus riding gloves.
Good thing, office is aircon, so I sort of lean back at a chair and cool down sufficiently to take up the accountants offer for the use of the laptop to type this.
I am posting this in my blog.....hopefully with pics of those buffalos. -

1 of the highways, the toll goes up by 60%... Rest is 30% - 45% -
i'd have driven the pickup instead
