there's also across the road from Textile Centre, Fish Head Steamboat...
in the basement of Golden Mile Hawker Centre is the beef noodle shop my family used to frequent when it was a roadside stall about 30 years ago.. still tastes as good.. not that heavy, chilli has dessicated grated ginger, soup is light and tasty... the "dry" stuff which is covered in gravy isn't as good as the soup version... it's beside a knock-off Nasi Ayam Penyat stall which also serves Nasi Ikan Penyat
upstairs, where the chilli noodle stall is, has this very good roast pork stall which has egg with chives in it.. good stuff
lots of places to eat there

In other news, I was reminded of the old saying 'be careful what you wish for', when I saw zao geng pics of people like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan in public..not wearing any underwear. Other than the trauma of me trying to tear my eyes out, I was also wondering why they did not expose themselves while they were still hot. 5 years ago people would be wanking off to such pics. Now...............
