i hate it when vendors do this...
they know they will end up having to do things, yet they try to aggravate the whole situation by being weasels...
anyway, my colleague is also having problems with her vendor.. hers is print.. each time they come back with the proof, the mistakes we pointed out are corrected, but fresh mistakes are made which were not in the last set of proofs... -

Have they buried the NKF case? How come I never see or hear anything about Durai anymore? They sent him away to protect the important people involved in the fiasco?

the Tamil text comes back, we bring it to one of our Indian officers who corrects the thing.. back it comes, it looks the same but the word is different.. pictogram also useless
i learnt that the hard way when i tried to "proofread" Bengali.. the pictograms look the same, but little bits make the word different
and to add to the stress levels, the chinese text is perfect long ago.. now developing problems as it comes back different!
i don't know what the hell is wrong with the vendor...
and the saddest of all, this vendor does typesetting only! the design, the pictures, the art, are all there drawn by someone else we commissioned.. Lee Chee Chew who does Chew on it! in the papers, came up with the artwork and everything in a week! he is probably the best "vendor" we've ever had..
