I do my clubbing in small doses...like once or twice every few years
somehow, crowded, sweaty places with bad music played at defeaning volumes just never appealed to me. I like ingesting my alcohol at quiet places.
but my friends tell me that's where you have to go to pick up women these days

I can never understand how come my friends like to go to discos to breathe in 2nd hand smoke and it's so damn warm coz so many people not to mention my ears my ears -

Nowadays, I opt to sit at coffee shops with friends. 'sa ki tiger leng leng'.
Or nice quiet jazz lounges.
Its nice sometimes to do some dancing, but most of the folks I hang out with, dont dance.
Like occasionally, Raffles Hotel's bar & billiard, can sit quietly one corner, drink frozen maquritas, dance salsa occasionally to work off the alcohol. And you can talk and joke with your friends w/o having to scream your lungs out. -
I think my zouk days are well and truly over .... I can't club anymore .... I'd rather sit at the bar and drink .....
or maybe it's just because of here ... clubbers here have a tendency to laspe into some cowboy high kicking routine sometime into the night ... -

Clubbing is just so different nowadays.
Those days, when bar top dancing was not allowed, it was so much illicit fun when the bar owners will restrict entry, sort of close off the place for 20 minutes and push us up the bartop where we dance.
Now....its just kinda too boring.
Nowadays, flirting on high w/o having to rub your boobs on strange arms....its much more refreshing. -
