i was looking at the "FT took his job" topic, we have people ranting for us to "think out of the box" but they refuse to do so themselves... set in their old ways where they do nothing but pursue profit relentlessly, damn everything else..
i'm challenging the "profit and growth" outlook in businesses.. but no one even dares to think that way..
think out of the box.. think that your box is heading 100mph off a cliff... but heck, since everyone else is staying the course, so am i??

Went shopping after we went to pay some handphone bills.
I am convinced that the shopping in Phuket or Thailand's shopping centre is overated.
Only their local night bazaar best to do shopping. Unfortunately, they are only available during the weekends.
Was eye-ing lots of 99 baht high heels shoes at the night bazaar. So was not really keen to shop at the Central Festival Shopping Mall. Was especially good when I was chatting on msn last night and my g/f wants some of those heels. She and me, roughly same feet size and she trust my taste. I've been shoe shopping with her and knew her taste. And there was plenty of her type of heels at the night bazaar. So whatever I brings back, she will makan them from me.....that's what friends are for I guess, to buy for each other.
Anyway, one of the shops at the Central Festival Shopping Mall was having a sale.
My heels was sort of giving me problems, so I tried on a pair of cute retro looking pokka dot heels. Not my choice of patterns, but they were so light. I end up buying 4 pairs. Intending to give 3 pairs away.
Lady, just now, had rejected my offer of those pokka dot heels saying she does not like pokka dot. w/o seeing them.
Well, I wont press the point then. Some other gals will benefit.
Come on....they are so cheap at 100baht which is what? S$4/-. They are better as souvenirs then anything else.
They looked great with Jeans & plain polo tee. -

And oh... the shopping malls of thailand is catering to caucasians. Size 36 onwards for shoes.
The local night bazaar caters more to the smaller feet, slimmer figures local gals. Which is why I like them. I am actually a size 35.5
The new heels I bought are size 36. which I am having some hard time to fill.
But they are lovely, lightweight & looks retro.
I just realised, the pair i am wearing now is co-rk heels. -
