another person's project, someone from the vendor's team quits and the bloody vendor expects us to pay for the hiring of someone else!

one of the customer relations fellas in a heated argument with a member of the public... we're letting it happen because the guy insists on jumping queue... we're letting it get out of hand so that people know that we're not pushovers -

If customer service personnel wants to be treated with respect, then they had better treat their customers with dignity.
Having worked in the customer service line several times before, I know what it's like to be at the receiving end of a jackass customer who only exists to waste the amount of available oxygen in the atmosphere.

Customer Service Officer -> Asst Retail Manager -> Manager -> Business Manager (this one will be in charge of a few shops, not stationed at 'Hello' shops) -
due to the extra-long weekend, the queue number at lunchtime was over 600.. the poor sods at that section, one of the organisation's battlezones, will have to work late today..
in other news, i'm going through the 4th draft of the script which my colleague gave her views to the vendor for... i think i've run out of blood and i just vomited my spleen out
4 drafts later, basic mistakes which we have corrected over and again, talked to them over and again, wrote to them over and again, are still being made...
oh well.. i look at it as a test of my patience -
the bkk trip is 2 weeks from now. and ya i saw the news abt the bombs. thank goodness i'm gonna stay at baiyoke. it's pretty worrying cos the bombs r around or in the bangkok city.Originally posted by elindra:Btw anything exciting in Bangkok?

Yeah I have been in customer service too and seriously for some customers I actually have to imagine myself doing all sorts of evil nasty things on them like stuffing them into an iron maiden so that I can continue smiling at them -
In short, their staff at their shop + hotline staff wrongly advised me to choose the wireless modem option (gotta pay extra $138 ) bec i have 2 pcs at home. But their technician came to install wired connections bec we're not using notebooks or laptops, i.e. no wireless connection was ever made - both pcs are wired up.Originally posted by elindra:What did Singnet do to incur your wrath

His line of reasoning is that it is highly unlikely that there will be another bombing right after because everyone has been scared away anyway.

One day, while I was working there, several girls from a nearby convent school started laughing and poking fun of my low-pitch, mixed accent voice when I told them how much their Slurpees cost.
They don't know how much it hurt me when they laughed at me... it brought back bad memories of secondary school when many of my classmates (childishly) hated me because of my accent.

He was like WHAT!!! HOW CAN YOU CHEAT CUSTOMERS and was shushed up and pulled aside and got it at the lower price -
