We use starhub cable and it's always been OK
M1 phone CS people also quite steady
I think I've been quite lucky with CS people, there have been few problematic cases
The instances of CMI CS are usually to do with elderly vendors e.g. old auntie selling noodles can't hear my order properly resulting in miscommunication etcetc
But they're usually already grouchy to start with

i used to speak with a *&$^# BBC World Service accent because i listened to BBC World Service when i was damned young...

I always got good CS from Singtel/Singnet
I mean hell they even follow up with a call 5-7 days later after I make a complain about my connection etc. (Strange thing is how come it seems I'm the only person getting follow-up calls coz no one else I know have ever received them before?)
So far nothing major to complain about them. -

i have no problems with CS people at most places...
i am respectful, polite and calm.. i smile at them, thank them for their help and actually help them to help me..
they usually go out of the way to answer any of my enquiries
the only time i lost it was with the Singnet people from long ago when we were using dialup..
i asked, they told me then that they could not handle a 28.8kbps so i bought a 14.4 modem.. then i found out they could...
after a year i decided to upgrade since they could handle a 28.8 modem, i asked if they could handle a 33.6 modem.. they said yes.. so i bought one..
they could not.. i could not connect for 2 weeks so i terminated the line and went with pacnet...
2 months later, they decided to charge me 2 months after termination, and in the bill, they still had the audacity to say that i was connected to them for over 5 hours when i could not even dial in...
i went over and showed them the termination, the letter the sent confirming the termination, my letter telling them about the problem of not being able to connect with a 33.6 modem so how the blazes i could connect to them for 5 hours?
oh well.. time to go rant at a vendor.. -
Just got off the phone with the singnet mgr....after talking for over 30 mins...
I don't like to raise my voice but sometimes you can't help it like if he kept harping on whatever thin strip of evidence (of what I'd said) that he can hang onto and twisting my words around, just so that he won't have to admit his staff made a misrepresentation. He tried to accuse me of being unprofessional for raising my voice, so I ask if sending his staff with no technical knowlege (which he himself claimed) to advise customers is professional?
I told him he's an intelligent person so let's not go round and round harping on those things (or the cows would have come home and we would still not be finished). Finally, he gave me a mth's waiver off my subscription and I asked for 2 mths' which amounts to about 50% off the extra i have to pay, just so I can get off this thing and not waste any more time.
Fudgester: I actually have a good experience with Samsung....my LCD monitor had problems...they promptly sent someone down and when it couldn't be repaired, they exchanged a new one for me. -
We experienced bad CS with M1 although everyone said they give good service
That is why I said it's a hit and miss kinda thing with CS -
my boss just advised me not to call the asswipe until tomorrow... so that i can cool down and not yell over the phone at the asswipe...
pissed off coz the script has not even pass me.. the first round of scrutiny.. it still has to pass my boss and then my boss's boss, then to the no.2 of the organisation before anything starts filming...
the asswipe has written in telling us that they will have to charge us more because of the "changes in the script"
i wanted to get on the phone and ask him "what script? you gave us a pile of rubbish which we kept correcting for you, which we are still correcting for you, and we actually bloody vetted and made corrections on the bloody script because of stupid and factual mistakes!! all of the information, we explained to you in detail ad nauseum!!"
that and a few choice obscenities...
my blood pressure rose, i vomitted out some blood which dropped the blood pressure, else i would have burst a vein or something
