Arrrgh... I have two pairs of running singlets, and both seemed to have disappeared in the wash or something.
Not only can't I go jogging tonight, I'll have to go out and buy another singlet tomorrow. -

Man who injected grandmother with mercury sentenced to 30 months' jail
SINGAPORE: A man who injected his grandmother with mercury while she slept has been sentenced to 30 months' jail.
The court had heard that 27-year-old Er Choon Sian tried to poison his grandmother, 75-year-old Wang Siok Tiang, early last year.
She later suffered hallucinations, fever, delirium and swelling.
Madam Wang was admitted to hospital where the mercury had to be surgically removed from her body.
Er also used her ATM card and stole thousands of dollars from her bank account.
District Judge Siva Shanmugam said that despite Er's schizophrenia, the acts were premeditated and executed over a period of time.
In passing sentence, he took into account several aggravating factors of the case.
He noted that Er was found to be aware of what he was doing and knew that what he had done was wrong at the time of the offences.
Er will be placed in the psychiatric rehabilitation unit at the Changi Prison and will be sent to the Institute of Mental Health for further treatment after his prison term expires.
Er's sentence has been backdated to July 17, 2006. – CNA/so -

Seems like AV just spent the whole day sleeping.... -
so did i.. but i spent some of the saturday looking for the "fatass duck" to make for next week's potluck..
no luck at the supermarket.. the ones at Giant were mere ducklings
at NTUC, slightly bigger... i'll go to the wet markets to have a look... hoping to get one that is bigger than 2kg... -
Yeah, think you have a better chance of finding it in the wet market..... If you can't find it, you may have to just get 2 of them.
Pot luck sounds fun. How often do you guys do that? -
well, first time for Club 30
although i've cooked duck for other potluck gatherings..
actually wanted to cook pork ribs but then fudgy is turning up.. don't want him to miss out on some food as he looks like he needs to eat a few more sandwiches -
How do you cook your duck? May be I need to get some recipe from you. I don't cook duck very often cos' not sure what to do with it other than cooking it in the oven.

I just had a look.... pretty thorough. Do you really need to marinade for 3-5 days?
