Oh well, at least it doesn't happen to me very often.... only happened about 2 times last year. I am working in telecommunication sector (infrastructure only) so whenever we need to change the mount of the antennas, it means a full outage is required. To minimize inconvenience to the customers, the work can only be carried out on the weekend.
Anyway, when I did work on the weekend, I might just go to work slightly later than normal. My manager usually quite flexible about it. -

my boss just got promoted last year.. so her rank is out of whack with her position.. and her husband is a Dy Director of operations so people do listen...
but maybe it's where she came from, she's always politically correct and sometimes, politics come into play too much.. but that's from her side..
my organisation went through a merger.. i'm from one side and she's from the other.. thing is, before the merger, their side played dirty and there was an across the board promotion of almost all the staff.. so we're now very top-heavy with a lot of management from their side..
the culture of the two sides are very different.. the senior officers of the other side was coddled and did almost nothing while their junior officers did almost everything.. while our side, we all pulled out weight...
after the merger, it was hard for them.. but hey.. we adapt
i'm still wondering how the section will hold up this year.. my colleague is being transferred soon, and the boss will have to be transferred because her rank is way too high for this little section... i'll be the only one who knows the work

I hate company politics and I hate people abusing their power too.
Even though I am a female, I think males make a better boss sometimes. Females can be very B-I-T-C-H-Y, moody, inflexible etc. Hmm... I shouldn't criticise my own gender should I?

I am starting to love the airports. Aircon, security & free internet!
Though I was too early at 4am. Turns out. They dont need early check in when its a morning flight.
They only start the counters exactly 3 hours before the flight. -
Males bozzes are easier to work with. Though some strange ones can be biatchy too.

Pak Lah talked abt the poor drainage that could be the culprit for the massive flood in Johor that strucked twice
They longed knew abt this but waited till the flood came which cost more to repair the damages -
we're the same so don't gloat..
it took a lot of flooding of bukit timah to build the drainage from that area -

not for eating!!
it was kinda good while the plaster was on.. however, when i tried to shower, even lukewarm water felt like superheated steam
and what's that buang whatever?
there's the tokuhon and salon pas versions.. and a whole lot i've never used before..
maybe i'll give those a try
