The JAL flight from Sg was great.
I had the whole row of seats to myself and slept most times.
Grabbed some wasabi seaweed snack thingy which my nephew likes and was late for my boarding, but it was still okay. The custom guy at Narita Airport was asking me in surprising good english why I am going to USA. I replied: For Holiday.
He asked again: How long you will be there?
I replied: 3 months.
He astonishingly asked: 3Months?? For Holiday????!!!
My chuckling reply: I got families there!
I was really tempted to buy the hello kitty watches at the airport, but restrained myself.
The American Airlines leg from Narita to LAX was packed!
Plus one japanese guy behind me, took off his shoes and was planting it on my seatrest and it stink!
After an hour, I unbuckled myself, stood up half way and asked the guy to please take his foot off my seatrest. I was trying to sleep after downing 2 sleeping pill and his foot smell keep warfing into my nose.
Slept on and off the flight, cos I was terribly uncomfortable. Didnt drink enough water though. My hair was kinda standing on its ends, either from the dry air or from my sleeping position. I felt so stupid when I saw myself at the US airport TOliets.
The US immigration officers is made up of 99 percent asians. Only one mexican dude there.
The custom officers was very nice and I breezed thru them with contraband bak kwa in my luggage.

My sister's mother in law was at the airport to fetch me. Turns out, brother in law, sister, nephew is down with food poisoning. Neice was okay, but she was throwing temper tantrums at being overlooked by the family as the nephew has his whole butt inflamed with all that diaherra.
We manage only to make some porridge, with salted duck eggs & steamed egg with minced meat for dinner last night. And it was with a last minute grocery shopping while grandma, papa & kids was having a nap.
I was jetlagged again. My nose wont stop running and I was yawning. But I couldnt sleep till 2.30am, so I had to take on sleeping pills again.
