  The problem with taking leave or going on holiday is the crazy amount of work that goes into preparing for your absence at work, and then clearing the massive backlog when you return
  
  Sometimes when you consider all that work involved pre and post holiday, it's not even worth going
  
  That being said, I promise to fully maximize your leave days if I could somehow adopt them

  going for reservist for 2 wks starting next wk.
  my colleagues will have to cover for me
  shouldn't have much backlog to clear

  I most likely have to be in KL at least from 14 Oct to 22 Oct.
