I'm more interested in what's going to happen in the criminal case against Durai. That one not yet started.
I think the most du lan group of people are not the people who donated....its the TCS artistes who kena forced to risk their lives to perform circus stunts to raise money for the NKF. Durai made clowns out of all of them.

I think the most du lan thing is that blue collar workers, hawkers, taxi uncles, bus drivers, were scrapping out precious dollars from their income to donate to the NKF ......
I hope there's a special place in hell for such people ... -

I hope there is that special place in hell too. If there were, most of our ministers and mps and a certain family will end up there
Think about it, the arguments they use for benchmarking their salaries are similar to the way Durai expected to be compensated. They have all lost sight of the concept of public service. A CEO of a profit making company is not the same as a CEO of a charitable organisation, or ministers and members of parliament who are supposed to be serving a country! The whole country is being run by people who are driven by unmitigated greed. -

how he contributes to the economy = he pays for his treatment.. it goes into the flawed accounting system called the GDP -

Yeah, they basically replaced the old crooks with new crooks. As far as I'm concerned, I'm never giving another cent to all these charities ever again (I never gave to the NKF thanks to 'insider' tips years ago). Well, ok, SPCA and certain small independent charities that do not receive govt funding are OK by me.
Too bad Durai is not being charged in a Chinese court. They hand out the death penalty for corruption
