i don't really care.. it's not my PC
in fact, it's going to be 3 years in 2 months' time.. maybe they'll replace it..
the idiots seem to love buying the latest CPU (so i'll probably get a duo core thing) but giving us insufficient RAM or graphics capability...
was listening to BBC World Service yesterday about the Open Source movement.. the biggest stumbling block to giving the actual users of the computers the proper software and hardware, is (they said it!!) ignorant management
seems like the users are always fighting the management about these things.. and they also said that management do not know anything and will "choose the market leader" which is windoze.. while ignoring more powerful, more secure and better alternatives like Linux...
someone was using Linux on his while others use xp.. he said his was 5 times smaller and simplier, 10 times faster and much more secure and stable -

i printed two excel file, of the same font, same font size and same width and height, but one looks terribly smaller
how come? -

we got the 1st batches of the PIII when it came out.. that was like.. 3 weeks after the PIII was launched..
they'll buy a pile of PCs if due.. and they'll always buy the latest chip...

Ok ok...I am in orchard road area, running a few more errands. Sitting at this fairly expensive internet cafe, sent emails for papa.
Now reading emails and collating all the other errands I have to run in USA.
Now told no need to bring my friend some stuffs from Singapore.
Asking my sister where is the exact addy of the Dainese Shop in Santa Ana USA.
Asking her permission to go Universal Studio with a couple on Feb 7 or 8.
Reading the web for soem FCE dunno wat machinery to handcarry back for other biker friends.
And still laughing at the holey folks on Bars regards to the Breasssts Pics at Happy Birthday Thread.
And dressed in jeans, polo tees & looking freaking butchy now. With hi tech boots and all.
