  there were no textbooks.. in fact, most of the time in uni, the textbooks were pretty much useless to the professors except for the law texts (one of which was written by the prof herself! )
  
  the other professors were professionals in their field and taught us that the textbooks were mostly nonsensical stuff written by acaedemics who were "divorced from reality"
  
  i still remember the Strategic Management prof.. he said that the front half of the textbook was all wrong, and that the chapter with his face in it (he was featured as "the man who turned a steel mill around" ) was dead wrong as he actually did everything which the chapter said we should not
  
  he then told us all to trust our common sense and logic.. remembering that if we are going to think strategic, we should sit down and think of everything around us and how our decisions are going to change everything else.. and how everything else will feed back to the equation...
  
  good stuff, that module.. taught us that we are never ever an isolated cell..

  dun seem to be very keen with this job leh..
  
  feel like i'm not gg to learn anything outside AP at all...
  
  but sis's bf says small companies are better... cos u learn more.. but the finance mgr told me immediately they won't train me to do stuff... cos i won't get to do them unless someone leaves the co...
  
  this is kinda not inline with what i have in mind..

  my boss just amended her own amendment into the original version
  
  but i think the past few days, when she's distracted and mad, her mind is occupied... her mom fell about 2 weeks ago and only now starting to affect her..
  
  she has to go off later to bring her mom to the hospital

  Taobao lunch everyday? The kind of lunch that can be kept for hours and still taste alright ....would be quite limited, right? Unless u like to eat sandwich often?
